I understand that the FP1 engine is a pain in the neck and that's why there is a delay with the DLC. If a remake were to be released (even with Torque and Spade), it would just be a burden to me to have to pay more money than previosuly planned for a game that I already have just for two characters and work hard to earn the same achievements all over again. It took me quite a while to complete the game 100%. Honestly, I would find a remake to be pretty annoying.
I know whatever you guys decide to go with will be great, especially once FP2 is done and you have more time to think about this and other things. I still like the idea of stand-alone games, even if they are completely separate games to buy on Steam for a reasonable price (less than FP1?) and not actual "DLC" for FP1. Would there be any major story or gameplay changes or would it basically be FP1 in FP2's engine but also with Torque and Spade being playable?
